A rootstock is the base of a grafted plant, providing the root system and stem to support the new plant. The different tree rootstocks control the tree’s size, vigor, precocity (how early the tree bears fruit), cold hardiness, and partly disease resistance.

Nemagaurd rootstock is often used in California as it is resistant to root knot nematodes. This peach rootstock is also compatible for grafting nectarines, apricots, plums. Grows best in well drained soil.

You will receive an actual tree in a cloth pot. We grow our own plants and seeds at our family farm using organic practices only.
