This California native is a truly amazing plant. In addition to making a wonderful shrub that has a lovely yellow flower in the spring it also produces tasty Currant berries! Being a native plant it thrives on our summer drought and winter rains and is also appealing habitat for our native animals.

Hearty small to medium bush, without much need for special care. Can be pruned to maintain desired size and shape. Yellow flowers in the spring attract pollinators. Small sweet berries also attract wildlife, they can range from yellow to red when ripe. In the fall the leaves put on a show changing to yellow and red before they fall.

You will receive an actual plant in a cloth pot, similar in size to the second picture (pictured in winter when dormant). We grow our own plants and seeds at our family farm using organic practices only.
